Do And Don'ts On Natural Hair

Don't

1. Combing it while its dry, If you do that long enough you will increase your natural hair to shed.

2. HEAT! HEAT! HEAT!!! Stay away from a curling/flat iron and blow drier as much as possible. The longer you stay away from it the better and healthier your hair looks.

3. Using products that doesn't fit your natural hair type. What meant work for others met not work for you, so make sure you use a product that keeps your hair properly moisturized at all times, MOISTURE IS KEY!!!

 4. Using harsh shampoos that straps natural oils out your scalp

5. Protein overload!!!  (eggs in conditioner, mayonnaise and etc...) too much protein in your hair regimen will make your natural hair break off!!!

Do's

1. Combing hair while its wet, the detangling process is much easier and less hair is be loss.

2.  Use more protective styling, the more you protect your ends the healthier it will look and not only your hair will look healthier but also the less you have to cut it and you will be able to have lengthier and thick hair on your head.

3. Co-wash!! the perfect way to avoid shampooing. co-washing is basically using a cheap moisturizing conditioner (not protein) to wash your hair. Co-washing is the best way to keep your natural hair super soft and moisturizing.

4. WATER!! WATER! WATER!!! think of your hair as a flower. If your not drinking enough water daily and keeping your body hydrated then your hair is mostly likely won't grow. If you hate drinking water like me then I suggest you adding some fresh sliced lemons in your water bottle.

5. TRIM! TRIM! TRIM!!! want healthy ends? you must trim off dead ends! If you hate getting trims ,because you think your losing your hair length then like said on #2 if you do more protective styles, than the less hair you cut off, Its really that simple.
